Liz Willis, RYT

iRest© Teacher-in-Training Level 1
Certified Warriors at Ease Teacher

My journey with yoga began in 2010 at a time when I was in desperate need of relief from high anxiety and panic attacks.  For many years, I had been stuck in the VA prescription cycle with no hope of relief. One day I came across a yoga DVD at a local bookstore and decided to give it a try. Through mindfulness, power of breath, and mind-body connection, I found the relief I had been seeking. Since then, yoga has been a constant support and a balm of healing in my life.

I completed my yoga teacher training through the Guiding Wellness Institute at Life Moves Yoga in Killeen, Tx. I am a Warriors at Ease Level 2 Teacher and have experience with trauma-sensitive and adaptive yoga. My personal vision is to help others pursue a path of healing. By offering a very unique approach to yoga, I hope that others may find the same relief and healing that I have.

Liz is a Marine Corps veteran, veteran spouse, and mother to 4 incredible kids.
