Warrior Yoga Teacher Training Program Highlights:

The Warrior Spirit Project 200-hour Warrior Yoga Teacher Training (WYTT) Program is a uniquely integrated system for preparing veterans, first responders, and warrior family members and supporters to lead safe and accessible yoga and meditation sessions that are trauma-informed and adaptive to the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of the participant.  This program provides the essential competencies needed to teach in any setting, while providing additional instruction in the unique approach of teaching effectively to the warrior community. In addition, participants learn about the healing power of human-animal connection and how to facilitate yoga in the company of service dogs and therapy horses.  This training provides participants with an opportunity for their own personal growth and positive transformation as they learn more about themselves while learning how to serve others.

  • Twelve (12) modules are delivered in a hybrid format of virtual and in-person sessions over the course of one year.
  • Between scheduled sessions, participants engage in home study assignments and practical exercises to satisfy additional required hours for the training year.
  • Primary enrollment priority is offered for military veterans (including active duty and reservist), law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and military/first responder family members.
  • Enrollment is limited to 10, for community-building and personal growth purposes.
  • Partial and full scholarship assistance is available, with separate application required.
  • Completion of ALL requirements, including attendance and participation in scheduled sessions, completion of home study assignments, and full participation in discussions and practicum leads to the Certified Warrior Yoga Teacher (C-WYT®) credential
